What is a toner cartridge?

A toner cartridge is a removable container that holds toner and is inserted into a laser printer. The toner is a fine powder made of plastic and pigment; toner cartridges contain the toner that is used in the printing process. When a document is printed, the toner is transferred onto the paper using heat and pressure. Toner cartridges are commonly used in office printers for printing documents, graphics, and other materials.

How long does a toner cartridge last?

The life of a toner cartridge depends mostly on the type of and amount of printing that is done. Printing large amounts of full-coverage prints will use more toner than printing large amounts of simple text on a page. On average, a toner cartridge can last for about 2,500 to 5,000 pages, but this can vary widely, with some toner cartridges giving you 12,000 or more pages.

How do I know when to replace my toner cartridge?

There are a few signs that it may be time to replace your toner cartridge:

• Your printer is producing faded or light prints
• Your printer is producing distorted or blurry print
• Your printer is producing prints with missing lines or text
• Your printer is producing blank pages
• Your printer is displaying a “toner low” or “toner empty” message

How do I store a toner cartridge?

If the toner cartridge cannot be stored in the printer, then it should be stored in a dry, cool place, away from direct sunlight and heat. They should also be stored upright to prevent toner from settling to the bottom of the cartridge. Try to store them in the original packaging the cartridge came in if the original packaging is in good enough condition.

Can I recycle my toner cartridges?

Yes, toner cartridges can be recycled. Toner cartridge recycling is a big part of our business, we happily take back all empty cartridges for recycling. Our remanufacturing process relies on receiving back empty toner cartridges in good condition so that they can be serviced and tested for reuse. When returning empty cartridges, we arrange to collect them – please email us at [email protected], or phone 046 907 5430.
Please store your empty cartridges safely in their original packaging when they run empty, and return them as such. Please don’t write or mark anywhere on the packaging outside of the space provided for empties, as we reuse our boxes to reduce waste.

A remanufactured toner cartridge is a used toner cartridge that has been disassembled, cleaned, and refilled with new toner, with certain parts being replaced. We refill and remanufacture the toner cartridges that we supply by ourselves, and test them ourselves before they leave our workshop to ensure quality and performance. Our remanufactured toner cartridges are just as good as original cartridges – we require each cartridge to meet the same performance standards as its original counterpart, and we use the same high-quality toner in our remanufactured cartridges as the original manufacturer uses in their original cartridges.

Are remanufactured toner cartridges environmentally friendly?
