All Canon Printer Cartridges

Canon inkjet printers tend to be entry-level, with an affordable price for the printer but expensive cartridges. Our compatible ink cartridges fix that problem, giving you better value on ink, meaning more pages printed for less. The printers themselves are made to be user-friendly, with a focus on minimal setup – being able to plug in and print straight away.

How long do printer cartridges last?

The lifespan of a printer cartridge depends on several factors, including the type of cartridge, the type of printer, and the amount of printing being done. On average, a standard ink cartridge can last on average anywhere between 200 pages and 1,000 pages, while a toner cartridge can last anywhere between 1,500 pages and 12,000 pages or more depending on the cartridge. These numbers can vary greatly, so it’s important to check the manufacturer’s recommendations for your specific printer and cartridge.

How do I know when to replace my printer cartridge?

There are a few signs that it may be time to replace your printer cartridge:

  • Your printer is producing faded or light prints
  • Your printer is producing distorted or blurry prints
  • Your printer is producing prints with missing lines or text
  • Your printer is producing blank pages
  • Your printer is displaying a “toner/ink low” or “toner/ink empty” message

Always reach out to us if you are unsure on any issue you are experiencing with your printer by phone or email, or visit our workshop. We are always here to help with anything printing-related.

What is the difference between ink and toner cartridges?

Ink cartridges are used in inkjet printers and contain liquid ink that is sprayed onto the paper through tiny nozzles. Toner cartridges are used in laser printers and contain a fine powder made of plastic and pigment that is transferred onto the paper using heat and pressure.

What is the difference between an OEM and a remanufactured printer cartridge?

An OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) printer cartridge is made by the same company that made the printer and is designed specifically for that model. A remanufactured cartridge, on the other hand, is a used cartridge that has been cleaned, refilled, fully serviced and tested to ensure it is in perfect working condition. Our remanufactured cartridges are remanufactured by us, and are typically less expensive than OEM cartridges as we are not charging you for a whole new cartridge, only the cost of remanufacturing.

Do you offer OEM, remanufactured or compatible cartridges?

We don’t offer OEM printer cartridges, only remanufactured and compatible cartridges.

Our ink cartridges are compatibles, and we take great care to ensure that they are of high quality and reliable. Our compatible ink cartridges are made using high-quality materials and undergo strict quality control checks to ensure they meet or exceed the performance of OEM cartridges.

We remanufacture the toner cartridges that we supply by ourselves, and test them ourselves before they leave our workshop to ensure quality and performance. Our remanufactured toner cartridges are just as good as original cartridges – we require each cartridge to meet the same performance standards as its original counterpart, and we use the same high-quality toner in our remanufactured cartridges as the original manufacturer uses in their original cartridges.

Do you offer any recycling programs for used cartridges?

Yes, we have a recycling program in place for used cartridges. We take back all empty cartridges for recycling, ink and toner. Our toner cartridge remanufacturing relies upon good quality empty cartridges.

When returning empty cartridges, we arrange to collect them – please email us at [email protected], or phone 046 907 5430. Please store your empty cartridges safely in their original packaging when they run empty, and return them as such. Please don’t write or mark anywhere on the packaging outside of the space provided for empties, as we reuse our boxes to reduce waste.

Recycling toner cartridges helps to reduce office waste by diverting used cartridges from landfills, where they can take hundreds of years to decompose. In addition, recycling toner cartridges conserves natural resources, such as the oil and other materials used to manufacture new cartridges. By choosing to recycle toner cartridges, offices can play a role in protecting the environment and reducing their impact on the planet.

Are remanufactured toner cartridges environmentally friendly?

Yes, remanufactured toner cartridges are a more environmentally friendly option than buying new ones. They help to reduce waste and conserve natural resources by reusing and repurposing used cartridges.

Can my business benefit from using remanufactured toner cartridges over originals?

Here are two key points to consider when deciding whether your business can benefit from using remanufactured toner cartridges:

  • Cost-efficiency: Our remanufactured toner cartridges are generally less expensive than original toner cartridges because each time your business buys a cartridge from us, you’re only paying for the cost of labour and supplies to remanufacture the cartridge, you’re not paying for a whole new cartridge. This can mean a saving of up to 50% or more without losing out on performance or quality.
  • Reduce your business’s environmental impact: In addition to saving money on your printing, using remanufactured toner cartridges can help to reduce your business’s carbon footprint. The production of new toner cartridges requires more energy and resources than the remanufacturing of toner cartridges, especially considering the fact that when your business uses original toner cartridges, you are buying a whole new cartridge each time you run empty, and wasting a perfectly good but empty cartridge.
More and more businesses are moving to using remanufactured toner cartridges for environmental reasons alone; by choosing to use remanufactured toner cartridges, businesses can demonstrate their commitment to sustainability and corporate social responsibility, which can help to improve their ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) score and can be a good way to attract and retain customers who value environmentally responsible practices.

Can I refund or return a cartridge if it doesn’t work properly?

Yes, if you experience any issues with a cartridge that you have purchased from us, you may be able to return or exchange it. Please refer to our refunds and returns policy for more information.

When can I expect to receive my order?

For orders placed before 3PM, we endeavour to despatch same day, to be with you the next day or the day after that.
